Automated Metrology – Bruker Alicona paves the way at the Advanced Engineering Show

Bruker Alicona, exhibited for the first time in the UK an automated optical metrology system based on a standard G5 instrument. Using a collaborative robot objects to be measured are placed into the measuring system, compared against CAD data and then placed in a  go no go tray system. The system can run automatically providing measurements without user influence.
