ANCA Tool of the Year 2025 and Female Machinist Award Now Open for Global Submissions

ANCA CNC Machines, a global leader in precision CNC grinding solutions, has officially launched the #ANCATooloftheYear2025 competition — inviting the world’s most talented toolmakers to showcase their innovation, design excellence, and technical mastery.

Now in its eighth year, this prestigious competition celebrates the ingenuity of tool manufacturers using ANCA technology, offering global recognition, industry exposure, and a selection of valuable prizes across two main categories:

  • #MadeonANCA – for physical tools ground using ANCA machines and technology
  • Most Innovative Tool Design – for virtual or conceptual designs that push creative and technical boundaries

Winners will be announced during EMO 2025, held in Hannover, Germany from 22–26 September. Submissions are open until 31 July 2025, and entries can be submitted via the official competition website.

✨ What’s at Stake?

The #MadeonANCA category winner can choose from:

  • Option 1: AUD $10,000 in ANCA accessories or software + an international trip to ANCA’s Australia or Thailand facility
  • Option 2: An on-site consultation with an ANCA application engineer to optimise tool cycle times and productivity

The Most Innovative Tool Design winner will receive:

  • A 12-month ANCA Academy subscription for five team members — providing access to ANCA’s exclusive e-learning platform

Also open is the Female Machinist Award, designed to highlight the exceptional contribution of women in the cutting tool industry. Open to women of all experience levels who actively use ANCA technology, the award celebrates problem-solving ability, innovative tool design, and critical thinking in a manufacturing setting.

The winner will receive:

  • A fully funded trip to a leading international trade show where ANCA is exhibiting
  • VIP access to ANCA leadership and product experts
  • Networking opportunities with global industry professionals
  • Access to educational seminars and workshops
