ALM Engineering Solutions Invest £150,000 in New High-Speed Milling Centre

Cobots Online and ALM Engineering Solutions have marked a major milestone in their growth journey with the arrival of a brand-new high-speed milling centre from Brother. This £150,000 investment reflects the companies’ ongoing commitment to innovation, precision, and cutting-edge engineering capabilities.

The new machine has been installed at their facility with the support of Whitehouse Machine Tools, who ensured a smooth and efficient delivery and setup. Known for its rapid cycle times and high accuracy, the Brother milling centre will significantly enhance both firms’ machining capabilities — enabling faster turnaround times and even greater quality control.

“This investment is all about futureproofing our operations,” said a spokesperson for Cobots Online. “By combining advanced machining technology with our in-house expertise in collaborative robotics, we’re raising the bar for what’s possible in precision engineering and automated manufacturing.”

Cobots Online is already known for pioneering solutions such as CoboTend, their automated tending system designed to work seamlessly with CNC machines. Plans are already in motion to integrate this new milling centre with CoboTend, taking efficiency, consistency, and safety to the next level.

Both Cobots Online and ALM Engineering Solutions continue to demonstrate a shared focus on delivering high-quality, forward-thinking solutions for customers across multiple sectors. This latest investment underlines their vision for smarter, more agile manufacturing — and their readiness to meet the demands of modern industry head-on.

As the companies continue to expand and innovate, the new high-speed milling centre represents more than just an equipment upgrade — it’s a symbol of their dedication to excellence, partnership, and progress.
