SPE bring CNC turning in-house thanks to new Star Sliding head lathe cell
5 years ago SPE were subcontracting out all their turning requirements and beginning to find they were losing control of their production in this area. The company opted to bring the work back in-house and in doing this needed to procure new machinery. The machinery option selected was a Star Sliding head lathe. A few years down the line and the company now operates two sliding head machines from this midlands based supplier.
