SMW-Autoblok Telbrook, innovations in workholding keep the spindle running!

SMW-Autoblok Telbrook are world renowned in the workholding industry, and this year’s MACH exhibition has been nothing short of fantastic. On their stand, Giovanni meets Director Andy Dainty to find out about their range of latest technology in standard and bespoke workholding solutions. SMW-Autoblok Telbrook are capable of manufacturing very complex high-precision fixtures, including vices, chucks, manual and hydraulic steadies, and centric grippers. The brand showcased among other products their quick-change system, 2+2 self-centering and compensating 4-jaw chuck, the centric gripper that eliminates excess swarf, and the setting station shown with an APS zero-point system but can be used with anything to set components on fixtures.
