Tigercat, Elliott Matsuura, and Nicolás Correa Strengthen North American Manufacturing Through Collaborative Partnership

Ontario, Canada — A powerful example of true manufacturing partnership is taking shape in Tigercat Industries’ newest 150,000-square-foot facility in Ontario, where five large-format Nicolás Correa machining centres, supplied and supported by Elliott Matsuura Canada, are currently being installed.

This week, MTDCNC captured the story behind this collaboration, with Arthur Field presenting on site and Joe Amos behind the camera, documenting a milestone moment for advanced manufacturing in North America.

Tigercat—an industry-leading manufacturer exporting equipment to more than 40 countries worldwide—is expanding its capabilities through strategic cooperation rather than traditional transactional relationships. The installation reflects a partnership model where each organisation contributes far more than its individual role:

  • Tigercat Industries
A world-class manufacturer scaling operations across 12 facilities in Ontario, committed to long-term investment in modern machining capability.
  • Elliott Matsuura Canada Inc.
A distributor that doesn’t simply deliver equipment, but provides deep technical support, integration expertise, and ongoing collaboration.
  • Nicolás Correa S.A.
A machine tool builder known for large-scale, high-precision machining solutions, actively involved in ensuring each machine is tailored to real production needs.

Rather than operating in silos, all three companies are working side by side—problem-solving directly on the shop floor, coordinating installation, and aligning on future production goals. The result is a partnership model that demonstrates what North American manufacturing can achieve when companies move beyond transactional interactions.

“Advanced manufacturing thrives when suppliers, builders, and manufacturers work as one team,” said Arthur Field during the on-site coverage. “What we are seeing here is the blueprint for bringing more manufacturing strength back to North America—shared success, long-term trust, and collaboration over competition.”

The installation at Tigercat’s new facility highlights a shift toward integrated partnerships as the key driver of competitiveness, productivity, and growth. It represents not just the deployment of machinery, but a unified commitment to building capability that supports North American industry on a global stage.

Full video coverage of the installation and partnership story will be released soon on MTDCNC.
