Tsugami Precision Engineering Really Going Places

Jayant Vaidyanathan Managing Director of Tsugami Precision Engineering India explains that they were set up in 2014 to manufacture CNC machines in India for the Indian market are part of a worldwide group based in Japan. With nearly 3000 machines already installed at customer sites across India Tsugami are selling almost 100 machines per month. From it’s early beginnings Tsugami has expanded quickly with bigger production facilities & a wide range of products including lathes & turning centres, milling machines, sliding head & grinding machines. Tsugami are also looking at investing in their own foundry within the year & increase production to 200 machines per month and more. As MTDCNC’s Ashutosh Arora discovers Tsugami’s growth plans are huge as the Indian marketplace expands rapidly with the electric vehicle & electronic markets planed growth in the next 5 to 10 years. Tsugami already have 6 Technical Centres across the country but this is set to increase to other regions as well a 25%-50% increase in the size of the service team.
