Joe Reynolds from MTDCNC is with Richard Whiles from CNC International to discuss and review ONA’s new Die Sinking EDM, the Iris machine, as well as the new Iris control.

What makes the Iris so popular around the world? Richard shares the key components for ONA including its fully digital generator that gives infinite control to customers. It can be optimized for a wide range of applications and materials. In the video, Richard also provides details on Ona’s ecological filter system that offers a long life of 10,000 hours maintenance free. No filter cartridges required translates to massive cost savings, and the filter is also environmentally efficient in reduced carbon emissions. Ona’s Iris control features a powerful graphics engine that generates simulations and provides the ability to check for inaccuracies, collisions or misplacements without the need for a dry run. The graphical representation shows exactly where the machine is during the erosion process. Ibon Jaio from ONA explains how the new Iris control helps customers feel safe and empowered by avoiding human errors and unexpected increase of intensities. Watch the video to find out more about the latest technology from ONA.
