DNM 4500 Installed at Kevmar Ltd as Demand for Mills CNC’s 4th Generation Machines Continues

Mills CNC has completed another installation of a DNM 4500 4th generation vertical machining centre at Kevmar Ltd, reaffirming strong demand for the high-performance series across the UK and Ireland.

The latest addition is one of several DNM machines installed at Kevmar in recent years, underlining the company’s confidence in the machine’s performance, reliability, and versatility across a wide range of subcontract engineering applications.

The DNM 4500 is equipped with a powerful and well-rounded specification as standard, including:

  • 18.5kW direct drive, 12,000rpm Big Plus spindle
  • 30-station twin-arm automatic tool changer with random selection
  • 42m/min rapid traverse speeds on roller guideways
  • 36,000 mm/min cutting feedrates
  • Automatic grease cartridge lubrication system

This configuration makes the DNM 4500 a suitable choice for manufacturers operating in sectors such as aerospace, medical, hydraulics, automotive, construction, and the general subcontracting market.

The machine was commissioned and put into operation immediately after installation, with Kevmar continuing to expand its capacity and capability in response to sustained customer demand.

Mills CNC’s DNM series, manufactured by DN Solutions (formerly Doosan Machine Tools), has established a strong reputation throughout the UK and Irish markets as a global best-seller. The range is recognised for delivering consistent precision, high-speed machining performance, and strong return on investment for customers across all sectors.

The latest installation was shared on social media by Declan, one of Mills CNC’s area sales engineers, highlighting the company’s ongoing success in supporting customers with high-quality, application-focused machine tool solutions.
