Moving large, fabricated parts from welding to machining used to mean extra fixtures, lifting, and wasted setup time.

At Universal Fabrications Ltd, a MicroLoc zero-point system has changed that completely. Parts now move straight from the robotic welding cell onto the Starvision five-axis machine and into final assembly with virtually no setup time.
