Quaser MF Series Demonstrates Multi-Role Machining Flexibility at ETG UK & Ireland
By Paul Jones
A recent visit to ETG UK & Ireland saw Paul Jones join Steven Brown to take a closer look at the Quaser MF Series, a machine that challenges traditional expectations of what a machining centre can deliver.

The MF Series is designed as a highly flexible platform, combining 5 axis capability with a fixed table positioned within the machine’s working envelope. This unique configuration allows the machine to perform multiple roles depending on the production requirement.
Manufacturers can operate the system as a standard 3 axis machining centre, switch to full simultaneous 5 axis machining, or utilise the machine as a large table travelling column machine for larger components.
This versatility opens the door to significant shop floor advantages. Instead of investing in separate machines for different applications, manufacturers may be able to consolidate operations into a single platform. The result can be reduced floor space requirements, simplified workflows and increased production flexibility.

For manufacturers seeking adaptable machining solutions, the Quaser MF Series highlights how modern machine tool design is evolving to deliver multiple capabilities from a single investment.
The visit with ETG UK & Ireland provided a closer look at how this flexible approach to machining could help manufacturers streamline operations while maintaining the performance and precision required in today’s competitive production environments.
