Is Four a Full House?

A new machining facility in Newport is investing heavily in productivity and control, with the installation of four new Dugard machines, including a Dugard 760 VMC fitted last week.

The move brings production in-house, allowing the customer to take greater control of quality, lead times, and costs, while also expanding their development capabilities.

Each machine is powered by Mitsubishi’s M80 Ultra High Speed Control and features SSS-4G (Spindle Super-Imposition Control) technology — designed to deliver high-speed, high-accuracy machining.

This advanced system optimises acceleration/deceleration, reduces vibration, and utilises a CNC-dedicated CPU to produce shorter cycle times, improved surface finishes, and greater precision.
