Swedish Iron – an engineer has compared to an Armadillo – Crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle.
Metaltech have been making a component for 15 years from Swedish Iron. Initially it was manufactured on a Fixed Head Lathe, then they moved to Sliding Head technology.
With the ongoing desire for efficiency and cost control they needed to find a new solution to ensure optimum production performance. Along cam Citizen Machinery UK and their new LFV technology.
