A recent visit to Armex in Birmingham saw us review their latest purchase, a Miyano BNE51.
The first thing that is clear – it’s not just a great machine but Warren from Citizen was a great salesman. Knowledgeable, solution provider are just a couple of the superlatives that Matt used to describe him.
Unfortunately we had to stop Matt – he had so much to say about the machine and Warren that our video would have been about 40 minutes long! Don’t panic, it is a lot shorter than that, the only downside is you won’t hear the comprehensive list of why they bought the machine.
But, a few of the reasons are;
– Twin spindle , Twin turret, to halve cycle times
– High pressure, chilled coolant to;
o aid swarf evacuation
o improve thermal stability
o improve tool life
– The selection of tooling was immense, 12 stations on each turret, but you can double up if required
