A recent visit to Rowan Precision in Birmingham gave us the opportunity to review their latest acquisition, a Citizen Miyano M32 VIII. Matt Lowe gives us his view.
In his words, ‘it has exploded with tooling!’. They already had M32s but this new machine was a straight swap. But it wasn’t a straight swap as the machine now boasts 15 Axis and multiple tooling options.
So, this machine makes any ‘tool hungry parts’ a thing of the past. Sporting a modular tool post at the rear, full simultaneous B-Axis, live tooling and spindle, this machine gives flexibility, rigidity and power.
