During our time filming at BIEMH in Bilbao this week, the MTDCNC team spent a full day on the impressive Maquinser stand exploring the wide range of technologies the company represents. One of the key people guiding us through the stand was Oscar — the Maquinser machine tool man.
Oscar took the time to walk Alison and Lyndsey through the entire stand, explaining not only the machines on display but also the capabilities behind them. From the latest models to the subtle differences between technologies, he provided a detailed insight into the opportunities these machines present for manufacturers looking to invest in advanced machining solutions.

The Maquinser stand featured an impressive lineup of technologies from leading global brands, covering everything from high-precision machining to multitasking production solutions. For visitors to BIEMH, it offered a clear view of how modern machine tools are evolving to deliver higher productivity, greater flexibility and more autonomous manufacturing processes.

Two machines that particularly stood out during our discussions were the Matsuura MX-520 PC7 and the Muratec MT300.
The new Matsuura MX-520 PC7 brings together Matsuura’s well-known five-axis machining capability with an integrated seven-pallet automation system. This configuration is designed to maximise unattended running time, making it ideal for manufacturers looking to increase spindle utilisation and manage complex part production with minimal operator intervention.

Alongside this was the impressive Muratec MT300, a multitasking machine built for high-capacity, high-productivity machining. Designed to handle complex parts in a single setup, the MT300 combines substantial machining capacity with flexible automation options, allowing manufacturers to streamline production and reduce downtime.
Oscar’s tour was just one of many conversations captured during our filming on the Maquinser stand, and it provided a great insight into the technology and expertise behind the company’s offering.
Over the coming weeks, MTDCNC will be sharing a series of videos from Maquinser at BIEMH, featuring the machines, the people and the technologies shaping the future of manufacturing.
Stay tuned to MTDCNC for the full coverage coming soon.
