DTS UK expands its machine tool portfolio with IBARMIA, combining advanced machining technology with nationwide service and engineering support.
DTS (UK) Ltd has announced a significant expansion to its product and service offering, becoming the exclusive UK distributor for IBARMIA with immediate effect.
The new partnership sees DTS UK take responsibility for the supply and support of IBARMIA’s full range of high-performance machining centres across the UK. Renowned for innovation, accuracy and flexibility, IBARMIA machines are designed to help manufacturers increase productivity, improve quality and tackle increasingly complex machining requirements.
The MTDCNC team recently visited DTS UK, where Clinton Perry and Chris Thomas met with Andrew Guy and the wider team to learn more about the announcement, the technology behind IBARMIA, and what the partnership means for UK manufacturers.
However, the expansion is about more than adding another machine tool brand to the DTS portfolio. A major part of the company’s proposition is the service and technical support available to customers throughout the lifetime of their investment.
Martin Johnson, Service Manager at DTS UK, explained:

That nationwide service capability will form an important part of the IBARMIA offering, giving UK manufacturers access to both advanced machining technology and the engineering expertise required to support it.
The machines have also made a strong first impression on the DTS service team, particularly when it comes to accessibility and machine design.
