NCMT Ltd is set to host the “Engineered for Power” event, focusing on cutting-edge manufacturing technologies for turbine components. This event will take place at their Coventry Technology Centre on 9 to 10 September and aims to explore advanced techniques crucial in the production of blades, vanes, and high-value engine components used in aerospace and power generation.

The event will be centred around precision grinding, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) drilling, and advanced machining processes. Attendees can expect to gain insights into how these technologies improve profile accuracy, surface finish, and the production of cooling holes, all contributing to a consistent and repeatable manufacturing process.

The event targets manufacturing engineers, production managers, process development teams, as well as technical buyers and suppliers involved in the stringent demands of turbine component manufacturing. The focus will be not only on the intricate details of manufacturing processes but also on maintaining and achieving quality standards crucial for these high-stakes applications.

NCMT’s Coventry Technology Centre will serve as a central hub for showcasing these advancements, further cementing the UK as a leader in precision engineering and advanced manufacturing techniques. The event underscores the country’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological innovation in the manufacturing sector.
