United Machining North America Launches Limited-Edition EDM and 5-Axis Milling Machines!
United Machining North America has introduced a new range of limited-edition wire EDM and 5-axis milling machines, expanding access to high-precision machining technologies for manufacturers seeking improved productivity and efficiency. The launch includes advanced models from both AGIE CHARMILLES and MIKRON MILL, combining proven performance with competitive pricing and integrated support services.
The new wire EDM lineup features the CUT E 350 PRIME and CUT E 600 PRIME machines from AGIE CHARMILLES. These systems are equipped with advanced power supply technology and onboard cutting capabilities designed to deliver high accuracy, stable machining performance, and increased productivity. The machines also feature a user-friendly interface that simplifies operation while supporting precise control in demanding EDM applications.
According to the company, the limited-edition EDM models combine established hardware and software platforms with a comprehensive service package, enabling manufacturers to achieve consistent precision and reliability on the shopfloor. This approach is intended to make advanced EDM technology more accessible to a wider range of operations while maintaining the quality standards associated with Swiss-style machining systems.
In addition to the EDM machines, United Machining North America has launched the MILL E 700 U PRIME, a limited-edition 5-axis milling machine from MIKRON MILL. The system is designed for simultaneous 5-axis machining and incorporates high-performance components to support complex and high-precision applications.
A key feature of the MILL E 700 U PRIME is its 20,000 rpm Step-Tec spindle, delivering 120 Nm of torque and 36 kW of power. This high-performance spindle is engineered to provide stable cutting performance across a wide range of materials and machining conditions. The machine also uses direct torque table motors, enhancing positioning accuracy and dynamic motion control during simultaneous multi-axis operations.
The system is equipped with a HEIDENHAIN control platform, known for its advanced motion control and precision capabilities, enabling efficient programming and operation. Additionally, the machine supports compatibility with both integrated and third-party automation systems, allowing manufacturers to incorporate the platform into automated production environments and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
United Machining North America emphasised that the limited-edition models are intended to broaden access to high-accuracy machining technologies, particularly for manufacturers looking to adopt advanced Swiss-style machining solutions without compromising performance or reliability.
Available through the company’s dealer network, the new EDM and 5-axis milling systems reflect the growing demand for flexible, high-precision manufacturing equipment capable of supporting increasingly complex production requirements across industries such as aerospace, medical, automotive, and precision engineering.
