Hyundai Translead has announced a major expansion of its U.S. manufacturing footprint with the development of two advanced production facilities in Will County, Illinois. The move represents a significant investment in capacity growth, operational efficiency, and long-term market expansion.
Backed by an initial investment exceeding $450 million, the new facilities will span approximately 52 acres along the Des Plaines River. The sites include the former Caterpillar Inc. heavy equipment location and a previous facility operated by Lion Electric.
