Berkshire-based joint venture Edgewing has been awarded a £686 million contract to propel the design and development of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). This marks the first joint agreement under the GCAP, a transformational partnership involving the UK, Italy, and Japan to create a next-generation combat aircraft.
