Romi BW Machine Tools, based in Erlanger, Kentucky, has appointed Cristiano Rodrigues de Fraga as general manager for the United States and Canada. In his new role, he will provide strategic leadership for the company’s North American operations, overseeing market development initiatives, customer relationships and the continued strengthening of Romi’s regional presence.
De Fraga brings more than 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and machine tool industry. Most recently, he spent 15 years at Romi’s Brazilian headquarters, where he served as sales manager. During that time, he led commercial strategy development, directed market expansion initiatives and managed sales teams with direct responsibility for achieving business performance targets. His tenure in Brazil provided him with extensive experience in aligning sales execution with broader corporate growth objectives.
As general manager for the U.S. and Canada, de Fraga will focus on reinforcing Romi’s local market engagement while ensuring strong coordination with the company’s global strategy. His responsibilities will include expanding strategic partnerships, supporting distribution channels and strengthening customer service frameworks across North America.
