Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), one of India’s leading FMCG companies, has announced a set of senior leadership appointments across critical functions, signalling a strong focus on building organisational depth, sharpening execution capabilities, and supporting the company’s next phase of strategic growth. The leadership changes span supply chain, commercial operations, people and culture, strategy, and transformation—areas that are central to scale, resilience, and sustainable performance in a dynamic consumer environment.

Announcing the appointments, Hemant Rupani, Chief Executive Officer of HCCB, said the leadership refresh reflects the company’s intent to strengthen execution across its value chain. He noted that as HCCB continues to scale operations and enhance operational rigor, the newly appointed leaders will play a pivotal role in reinforcing discipline, enabling transformation, and shaping long-term value creation for the organisation.

Avinash Kant Kumar has been appointed Head of Integrated Supply Chain and will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations with a focus on resilience, efficiency, and scalability. With more than three decades of experience across supply chain, procurement, and operations, he brings deep expertise to the role. Prior to joining HCCB, he served as President at Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. His earlier career includes senior leadership roles at McCain Foods, Reliance Retail, Al Foah, and Procter & Gamble, giving him a strong foundation in managing complex, large-scale supply networks.

Vinay Nair has taken over as Chief Commercial Officer, where he will be responsible for shaping commercial strategy, strengthening execution discipline, and driving growth across channels and markets. With 25 years of experience within the Coca-Cola system, he brings deep institutional knowledge and a proven track record in building partnerships, expanding market presence, and delivering consistent commercial results across diverse geographies.

Ritesh Pratap Singh has joined HCCB as Chief Human Resources Officer and will lead the company’s people and culture agenda. His mandate includes leadership development, organisational capability building, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with HCCB’s growth ambitions. A seasoned HR leader, Singh joins from Tata Projects, where he served as CHRO, and has previously held senior HR roles at Tata Trusts and IHCL (Taj Hotels). This appointment marks his return to HCCB, where he earlier worked in HR leadership roles at national, regional, and market levels.

Sunaina Dhanuka has been elevated to Head of Strategy, in addition to her current role as Chief of Staff to the CEO. In this expanded role, she will help drive HCCB’s growth and transformation agenda. Her background includes leadership roles within the Coca-Cola system across ASEAN and South Pacific markets, as well as experience with Unilever, Macquarie, Morgan Stanley, and Arthur Andersen, giving her a strong blend of strategic, operational, and financial expertise.

Girish Sivaraman has been appointed Vice President – Commercial Transformation and will lead initiatives focused on go-to-market excellence, sales effectiveness, and capability building across the organisation. Returning to HCCB, he brings broad experience from leadership roles in India and international markets with organisations such as Mondelez International, Pepsi, Varun Beverages, Britannia, and Vodafone.

Collectively, these appointments reinforce HCCB’s intent to build a future-ready leadership team capable of navigating evolving consumer expectations, competitive intensity, and operational complexity, while continuing to deliver strong execution and sustainable growth.
