Expander Systems Takes Control of Workshop Air Quality with 3nine
By equipping its machine tools with 3nine oil mist separators, Expander Systems has taken full control of the air quality in its workshop. Since 2014, the company has continuously invested in 3nine solutions at its Swedish production facility, supporting the Nord-Lock Group’s ambition to reduce environmental impact while ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for employees.
“3nine’s products are reliable, efficient, and require very little maintenance,” says Andreas Skogh, Production Investment Manager at Expander System Sweden AB.

To help manufacturers gain better control over air quality, 3nine offers a structured approach that combines measurement, analysis, and improvement planning. A 3nine service technician visits the site to carry out air quality measurements in selected areas and compiles the results into a clear report. If any sources of air contamination are identified, 3nine works closely with the customer to develop an action plan that resolves the issues, improves the working environment, and ensures long-term results.
In connection with the latest investment in a 3nine oil mist separator, Anna, Expander Systems also carried out air quality measurements at its facility.
“Besides our latest purchase of the 3nine oil mist separator, Anna, we had air quality measurements done at our facility. We didn’t suspect any issues, but wanted to be certain for the sake of our employees’ health. It was a great relief to see that the air quality in the workshop is indeed good, confirming that we provide a healthy work environment for our team,” says Andreas Skogh.
