Bosch Limited has expanded its consumer offerings in India with the launch of a new line…

Tsugami Precision Engineering India Private Limited is set to achieve a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new advanced manufacturing facility at Vallam Vadagal, Chennai, on December 4, 2025. This major expansion underscores Tsugami’s long-term commitment to India, which has now emerged as one of the company’s most critical global manufacturing hubs, complementing its established operations in Japan and China. The new facility reflects Tsugami’s strategy to strengthen its production footprint, enhance technological capabilities and deliver high-precision CNC solutions tailored to the growing demands of the Indian market.
The newly constructed plant features expanded production infrastructure, upgraded assembly lines and cutting-edge machinery designed to support a broader and more flexible manufacturing base. One of the standout additions to the facility is its integrated state-of-the-art foundry, engineered to produce high-precision castings for Tsugami’s CNC machines. This in-house foundry will significantly enhance quality control, improve production efficiency and strengthen supply chain agility, allowing Tsugami India to maintain tighter tolerances and superior performance standards.
With this expansion, Tsugami India aims to rapidly increase its installed machine base across the country while responding more efficiently to customer needs. The enhanced facility will enable the company to reduce lead times, improve service responsiveness and introduce next-generation CNC technologies designed for high-accuracy, high-productivity machining applications. This development marks a pivotal step in Tsugami’s mission to support India’s transformation into a global precision engineering hub.
The inauguration ceremony, titled The Precision Tsugami Plant Inauguration, will bring together leaders from India’s manufacturing sector, key customers, engineers and machine-tool partners. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness Tsugami’s advanced manufacturing processes, learn about its innovations and experience firsthand the company’s commitment to quality, precision and customer-centric engineering.
Raghu Chandrasekaran, Managing Director at Tsugami India, expressed his enthusiasm for the new facility. He noted that consolidating casting, machining and assembly under a unified ecosystem enables operational efficiency, supply chain agility and consistent quality—factors that contribute significantly to improved delivery timelines and customer satisfaction. He emphasized that the new plant strengthens Tsugami’s foundation in India and reinforces its dedication to delivering world-class CNC technology for precision-focused industries.
As part of the celebrations, Tsugami India will host a Technical Fair from December 4–5, 2025, offering visitors an exclusive preview of its latest CNC machines, automation-ready systems and industry-specific solutions. The fair will feature live demonstrations, application showcases and interactive sessions with experts, providing valuable insights into modern machining trends, automation integration and advanced manufacturing practices.
The inauguration and Technical Fair are expected to attract strong participation from sectors such as automotive, electronics, aerospace, medical devices and general engineering. With precision, performance and productivity at the core of its offerings, Tsugami aims to empower Indian manufacturers as they advance toward automated, high-quality and globally competitive production systems.
