Spinner North America Opens Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center in Texas!

Spinner North America has opened its new Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center in Austin, Texas, marking a significant expansion of its service, training and customer support capabilities across the United States. The 5,000-square-foot facility has been designed as a comprehensive hub where manufacturers can experience live machine demonstrations, receive hands-on technical training, and gain faster access to critical spare parts and engineering expertise.

The center represents a major step forward for Spinner’s North American operations, especially as the company continues to import its CNC machines from Germany through the port of Houston. By establishing the Austin facility as the central point for configuring, accessorizing and integrating automation systems, Spinner ensures that machines arrive at customer sites fully prepared and production-ready. This streamlined workflow minimizes setup time and helps manufacturers begin making parts immediately after installation, reducing delays and boosting productivity.

In addition to machine preparation, the center houses an extensive inventory of Spinner spare parts. This local stock dramatically сокращает response times for service needs, enabling quicker repairs and minimizing costly downtime for machine shops. According to the company, the combination of technical support, localized parts availability and pre-delivery configuration makes the Austin center a critical asset for improving operational efficiency across the region.

Salim Awad, CEO of Spinner North America, emphasized that the new center is all about deeper engagement with customers. He noted that being geographically closer allows the company to address customer needs faster, offer real-time engineering support and deliver training that directly enhances manufacturing profitability. The facility is equipped to demonstrate a wide range of Spinner’s advanced CNC technologies, including high-precision five-axis machining centers, mill-turn platforms, multi-turret lathes, turnkey automation packages and integrated service solutions.

Axel Spinner, CEO of Spinner Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik GmbH, highlighted the strategic importance of the investment, calling the opening a major milestone for Spinner’s North American expansion. He explained that the Austin center reinforces the company’s mission to provide cutting-edge CNC solutions supported by strong technical service, ongoing training and seamless customer support.

With its focus on innovation, training and fast-response service, the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center in Austin is expected to significantly strengthen Spinner’s footprint in the U.S. manufacturing sector. The center not only enhances operational readiness and lifecycle support for Spinner machines but also helps customers adopt advanced machining technologies with confidence.
