DMG MORI USA Celebrates Manufacturing Day with Rock Valley College

Happy Manufacturing Day! Every year, the first Friday in October marks a special occasion to celebrate the innovation, skill, and opportunity found in modern manufacturing careers — and this year, DMG MORI USA was proud to take part by welcoming future industry leaders to our Chicago headquarters.

We recently hosted a group of faculty and students from the Rock Valley College Manufacturing Engineering Technology program, offering them a behind-the-scenes look at the technology, craftsmanship, and collaboration that drive our daily operations. The visit provided these aspiring CNC professionals with valuable insight into the cutting-edge machines and digital innovations shaping the future of advanced manufacturing.

The group toured our showroom with John Aussem, Applications Program Manager, who shared his expertise and demonstrated the precision and performance behind DMG MORI’s world-class solutions. The visit was coordinated by Eric Wilhelm, HR Manager, whose efforts ensured a meaningful and engaging experience for all involved.
