Leader CNC & Gruppo Parpas launch their New Drone X Metrology System at EMO

Gruppo Parpas launch their new metrology measuring system Drone X at EMO. The Drone X module is fitted into the machines spindle and checks the geometry of a large machine in 2 minutes, a job that would have previously taken 2-3 days, so a massive saving in costs due to machine down time and man hours. Gianluca Battisti from Gruppo Parpas tells MTDCNC’s Paul Jones once any points are found to be geometrically out the machine can be recalibrated back into tolerance and accuracy. The Drone X is suitable for all Gruppo Parpas machines and is available from Leader CNC.
