International lubricant manufacturer ROCOL is extending its support for UK customers with the appointment of a new sales engineer. Spencer Tasker joins the firm in the role of field sales engineer covering the South West and Wales.
Spencer’s career in engineering started when he joined the Royal Navy at the age of 16, where he undertook an engineering apprenticeship and served as a weapons engineer on submarines for 12 years. Spencer subsequently gained experience as a mechanical technician for Tata Steel and has spent the last five years working for an electric motor manufacturer before taking up the role with ROCOL.
Spencer commented, “The opportunity to join such a professional global organisation with a strong brand and reputation is fantastic and one that I knew I had to take. I’m enjoying learning all about the product ranges and looking forward to meeting and working with new and existing clients.”
With many clients across the South West and Wales, Spencer’s appointment reinforces the businesses commitment to the area and ensures that customers continue to receive the highest levels of service and support.
