Multi-Axis, Single or Multi-Hole High-Speed EDM Drilling System.
The HSD6 III High-Speed EDM System offers industry-leading performance whilst maintaining stringent aero and IGT metallurgical requirements. This machining system can accommodate components dimensions of 225mm x 225mm x 225mm (8.85 x 8.85 x 8.85 inches) and with a payload of 10kg (22lbs).
HSD6-III offers a robust design combined with multi-axis flexibility, a useful work envelope and a choice of tooling.
Applications
The acclaimed HSD6 machine in its latest MK-III incarnation has been specially developed for machining cooling holes and slots on critical components such as Aero and IGT turbine blades, vanes, segments and other components of a similar size.
