IMPORTANT NOTE: this machine is configured with Y axis milling and Tailstock only, with an option of no milling functionality (turning only).
The SC-200II is an extremely rigid single-turret multitasking lathe that can perform powerful and stable machining – even under the most challenging of conditions. Despite the machine being in the 8” chuck size class, it has a maximum turning diameter of 390mm and a swing over the bed of 700mm diameter, providing an exceptionally large machining area for a small footprint machine. This also enables the machine to accommodate a 10” chuck.
The output of the spindle motor has been increased to 15/11kW with the option of an 18.5/15kW motor, making this new addition far superior to its predecessor. In addition to the improved spindle motor output, the bar capacity and Y-axis travel have also been enhanced to give the new machine the ability to accommodate a higher machining capacity.
