Guhring end mills, almost endless tool life

Guhring is somewhat unique amongst carbide end mill manufacturers in that it produces its own carbide rod which is the base material for all Guhring carbide end mills. This ability to control the quality and specification of the optimum carbide rod gives Guhring carbide end mills excellent performance with longer and more repeatable tool life. Guhring’s solid carbide micro-precision tools with internal cooling ducts in the carbide start as small as 0.2mm and are finished in their own silicon coating allowing fantastic tool life and consistent quality. The unique design of the ducts allows air or coolant to be directed straight onto the cutting edge allowing excellent swarf evacuation to ensure perfect parts finish; it is possible to produce a mirror finish with these tools.
