The TIMTOS 2025 exhibition has concluded with great success, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and breakthroughs from over 50 exhibitors. The USA and UK teams worked tirelessly to capture live content, providing an inside look at the innovations shaping the future of manufacturing.
With over 200 machine builders in the Taichung region alone, TIMTOS 2025 confirmed Taiwan’s leadership in the global machine tool industry. It was an exciting week, connecting with new and existing partners while discovering pioneering solutions that are transforming sectors like aerospace, automotive, medical, and energy.
Delta Electronics showcased their advanced CNC controls, integrating CAD/CAM directly into machine control to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and simplify the programming of complex parts. HIWIN took center stage with Liu Chitai leading a LIVE booth tour, demonstrating their latest silicon chip automation loading machinery. This cutting-edge solution is designed for semiconductor manufacturing, offering high precision and efficiency. Additionally, HIWIN introduced new products focused on reducing energy consumption, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable manufacturing solutions.
HONOR SEIKI CO., LTD wowed the crowd with their ability to hard-turn a 4.4m wind turbine bearing made from 42CrMo4V—a high-strength alloy steel known for its toughness. This achievement highlighted the extreme precision and rigidity required for machining such large and complex parts without grinding. Joseph Chen and Juno Wang provided expert insights into this incredible machining capability.
ARIX CNC Machines marked their 30th anniversary with Arix Yang reflecting on their journey from inception to becoming a global leader in CNC machining. Their focus on local sourcing and delivering precision and reliability has allowed ARIX to maintain a competitive edge, meeting the exacting demands of industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical.
CHMER impressed with their commitment to energy efficiency. Jemmy Lo presented their latest EDM technology designed to reduce environmental impact while improving operational performance. As a leader in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), CHMER continues to innovate with environmentally-friendly solutions.
AMOS Machinery also made a splash, with Bruce and Michael introducing their new sliding head lathe. In just two years, this ambitious company has established itself in the competitive machine tool industry, showcasing innovative designs and cutting-edge capabilities.
MYDAY MACHINERY INC displayed their versatile flat-bed lathes capable of handling various toolposts for turning, milling, and boring operations. Komin Chen and Joyce Chen explained how their machines are used to produce large components, like power transmission shafts for ships, demonstrating both the size and sophistication required for such specialized tasks.
Micro Dynamics showcased a revolutionary built-in spindle, offering more power with less thermal generation. A 31kW spindle demonstrated its ability to cut S50C material with precision on a VMC, an incredible display of power and efficiency. This innovation represents a shift in spindle technology, offering a simpler yet more effective construction than traditional designs.
The event also covered critical issues such as reducing scrappage in silicon wafer grinding. Joy Wang of Grintimate Sales explained how hydrostatic bearings help minimize vibrations in grinding machines, significantly improving yield rates in semiconductor manufacturing.
