The L.S. Starrett Co. has announced the appointment of four new executives to its global leadership team, marking an exciting chapter in the company’s journey of continuous improvement, growth, and innovation. The new leadership appointments include Roger N. Amrol, Jr. as president and CEO, Barry D. Laughlin as chief operating officer (COO), Allen E. Look as global chief information officer (CIO), and Jon-Michael Raymond as chief revenue officer (CRO). These leaders bring extensive experience from the manufacturing industry and are poised to guide the company towards further success.
Roger N. Amrol, Jr. succeeds Douglas A. Starrett, who retired after 48 years of service. Amrol joins Starrett with over 12 years of experience at Robert Bosch Tool Corp. North America, where he served as president and CEO for five years. His leadership experience within Bosch and Techtronics Industries positions him to elevate Starrett to new heights, driving strategic vision and innovation.
Barry D. Laughlin, the new COO, brings a wealth of manufacturing operations experience, having most recently served as COO for Group DEKKO for nine years. Prior to that, Laughlin held a director of global manufacturing and custom products role at Navistar, where he spent over 26 years in various leadership positions. His operational expertise will be instrumental in implementing strategies to meet company objectives.
Allen E. Look, the newly appointed global CIO, has over 25 years of IT experience. Before joining Starrett, Look held CIO roles at FBG and Hayward Holdings Inc. and has a strong background in cybersecurity and data analysis. His leadership in technology will help Starrett modernize and strengthen its information systems to support future growth.
Jon-Michael Raymond brings over 17 years of sales and finance experience to his new role as CRO. His previous positions include global sales and marketing senior vice president at FyterTech Nonwovens and sales and marketing general manager at Mahr. Raymond’s experience in the industrial market will help Starrett drive revenue growth and expand its market presence.
