
Taiwan Excellence Showcases AI-Driven Smart Manufacturing Solutions at Automation Expo 2026!
Taiwan Excellence made a strong impact at Automation Expo 2026 by showcasing a wide range of advanced automation, artificial intelligence, robotics, and industrial technologies designed to support the next generation of smart manufacturing. As India accelerates investments in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor production, electronics, and digital transformation, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion emerged as one of the key attractions at the exhibition, presenting innovative solutions that enable manufacturers to build smarter, more connected, and sustainable factories.
The exhibition came at a significant time for India’s manufacturing sector, following the Government of India’s announcement of the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) 2.0 and the Mobile Phone Manufacturing Scheme (MPMS). Together, these initiatives represent investments of nearly US$20 billion aimed at strengthening India’s semiconductor and electronics manufacturing ecosystem. Beyond semiconductor production, the programmes are expected to drive substantial growth in industrial automation, robotics, AI edge computing, factory digitalisation, precision engineering, and smart manufacturing technologies, creating new opportunities for global technology providers.
Building on initiatives such as Make in India and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme, India’s manufacturing sector is increasingly adopting intelligent production systems and digital technologies to improve competitiveness and operational efficiency. Taiwan Excellence highlighted how Taiwanese companies are well positioned to support this transformation by providing advanced automation solutions that address the evolving needs of modern manufacturing industries.
The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion featured 22 award-winning Taiwanese brands displaying more than 55 innovative products and integrated solutions across three major technology areas: AI Edge Computing, Robotics and Smart Automation, and Industrial Equipment and Components. Throughout the four-day exhibition, visitors experienced live demonstrations, interacted with technical experts, and explored technologies designed to enhance productivity, improve manufacturing precision, optimise operational efficiency, and promote sustainable industrial practices. The pavilion demonstrated how Taiwan’s technological expertise is helping manufacturers create resilient, intelligent, and highly connected production environments.
A major highlight of the event was the Taiwan Excellence Product Launch under the theme “Building Sustainable Manufacturing with Taiwan’s Adaptive Solutions.” Four leading Taiwanese companies—HIWIN, IBASE, SINTRONES, and SYNTEC—introduced their latest innovations, demonstrating how artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, edge computing, and precision engineering are transforming manufacturing operations while supporting digital transformation and sustainability objectives.
HIWIN presented its latest HRCR-KK Cartesian Robot Series, showcasing advanced motion control and automation technologies designed to simplify industrial automation. The solution enables faster installation, reduced engineering time, and improved operational efficiency while complementing the company’s broader portfolio of linear motion systems, robotics, and semiconductor automation solutions. The demonstration highlighted the critical role precision engineering plays in helping manufacturers achieve higher productivity and greater manufacturing accuracy.
IBASE showcased two flagship Edge AI computing platforms, the AMI240 and ARS200, developed for AIoT-enabled industrial environments. The AMI240 demonstrated high-performance edge computing with support for 5G connectivity and real-time data processing, while the rugged IP65-rated ARS200 highlighted its ability to deliver reliable performance in demanding industrial applications, intelligent transportation systems, and mission-critical environments. Together, these solutions illustrated how edge computing is enabling smarter and more efficient industrial operations.
SINTRONES introduced its IBOX-650P-IP66-2S/DIO rugged Edge AI computer powered by the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin platform. Designed for harsh industrial environments, the fanless IP66-rated system provides advanced AI computing capabilities, high-speed connectivity, and real-time data processing for applications including industrial automation, autonomous systems, and intelligent transportation. The demonstration showcased how rugged AI platforms can improve operational intelligence, reliability, and manufacturing performance.
SYNTEC displayed its 22MA Compact CNC Pro alongside the LC1000-10-H AutoMate Pro collaborative robot. The compact CNC solution demonstrated high-precision machining within a space-efficient design suitable for small and medium-sized manufacturers, while the collaborative robot highlighted flexible automation with intuitive programming, high payload capacity, and dependable industrial performance. These technologies demonstrated how accessible automation can help manufacturers improve productivity while adapting to changing production requirements.
Beyond showcasing innovative technologies, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion also served as an important platform for strengthening business relationships between Taiwanese technology providers and Indian manufacturers. The event facilitated technical discussions, business networking, and collaboration opportunities involving system integrators, channel partners, OEMs, and manufacturing enterprises seeking advanced automation solutions.
