KAS Group Appoints G. Sivakumar as General Manager – Manufacturing to Strengthen Production Leadership!
KAS Group has announced the appointment of G. Sivakumar as General Manager – Manufacturing, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening its manufacturing leadership as India continues to emerge as a strategic hub for semiconductor and advanced manufacturing. In his new role, Sivakumar will oversee manufacturing operations across KAS Group’s facilities, with responsibility for enhancing production efficiency, strengthening quality management systems, and driving supplier development initiatives. He will work closely with the company’s leadership team to optimise manufacturing processes, improve operational performance, and support the Group’s long-term growth strategy. His appointment is expected to play a significant role in helping KAS Group deepen its engagement with global semiconductor equipment manufacturers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Sivakumar brings more than 25 years of experience in automotive and industrial manufacturing, having built an extensive career across operations management, quality assurance, strategic sourcing, supplier development, and manufacturing excellence. Throughout his professional journey, he has successfully led large-scale manufacturing operations, implemented quality improvement programmes, and driven operational transformation initiatives that have enhanced productivity and business performance.
Before joining KAS Group, Sivakumar held key leadership positions with several leading organisations, including Renault Nissan Automotive India, Uno Minda Group, Prabha Engineering, Lucas TVS, and Rane Brake Linings. During his tenure with these companies, he gained extensive experience managing Greenfield manufacturing projects, overseeing new product introductions, implementing operational excellence programmes, and leading supply chain transformation initiatives. His broad industry experience is expected to strengthen KAS Group’s manufacturing capabilities as the company continues to expand its operations.
Commenting on his appointment, Sivakumar said that KAS Group has established a strong manufacturing foundation across ultra-high-purity infrastructure, precision engineering, and semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
