
SafanDarley North America promotes Brandon Bigelow to service manager!
SafanDarley North America has announced the promotion of Brandon Bigelow to the position of service manager. In his new role, Bigelow will oversee the company’s service operations across the United States, Canada and Mexico, supporting the growing installed base of SafanDarley equipment throughout the region.
As service manager, Bigelow will be responsible for expanding field service capabilities and strengthening the company’s technical support infrastructure. His responsibilities will also include mentoring service personnel, improving coordination across service teams and ensuring customers receive consistent and timely support to maintain equipment uptime and operational performance.
A key focus of the role will be enhancing service efficiency as SafanDarley continues to expand its presence in North America. By improving service processes and strengthening collaboration with distributors and internal teams, the company aims to deliver faster response times and more reliable technical support for its customers.
Bigelow brings several years of experience within the organization. Before his promotion, he served as service coordinator, where he played an important role in centralizing service scheduling across North America. In that position, he helped streamline coordination between field technicians, distributors and internal support teams while improving communication and operational efficiency.
He originally joined SafanDarley North America in 2019 as an applications and service engineer. In that role, he worked directly with customers across the region, providing technical support and assisting with equipment applications, troubleshooting and system optimization.
Matt Garbarino, president of SafanDarley North America, noted that the company’s expanding installed base makes a strong service organization increasingly important. He highlighted Bigelow’s technical knowledge, leadership capabilities and customer-focused approach as key factors supporting the promotion.
Bigelow stated that his priority in the new role will be to continue strengthening SafanDarley’s service capabilities as the company’s North American operations grow. By enhancing service responsiveness and technical expertise, the company aims to help customers maximize equipment reliability and long-term productivity.
SafanDarley North America supplies advanced sheet metal processing equipment, including servo-electric press brakes, hydraulic press brakes, shears and automated bending systems. Strong service support is considered a critical component of the company’s strategy to ensure high performance and long-term value for its equipment across fabrication operations.
