Ultra Tooling, a newly formed business led by Russell Layton, visited the MTDCNC studios this week to showcase a selection of products now available to the UK market.

With over 20 years spent working directly with machinists and business owners, Russell has built a reputation for solving real-world production challenges. From cutting tool optimisation to improving machining performance, his career has been centred around delivering practical, effective solutions on the shop floor.

Now, with Ultra Tooling, that experience is being channelled into a new venture aimed at addressing a clear gap in the market.
