MTDCNC Explores Swiss Precision Manufacturing with Blaser Swisslube and REGO-FIX Group
MTDCNC recently embarked on an exciting journey through Switzerland, delving into the heart of Swiss engineering excellence. The team, visited Blaser Swisslube and REGO-FIX Group, capturing a wealth of cutting-edge innovations and precision manufacturing processes.
Blaser Swisslube’s journey began in 1936 when founder Willy Blaser, armed only with a bicycle and a vision, started by developing a waterproof shoe polish. It wasn’t until the 1950s that Blaser turned his attention to the growing machining industry, and the company soon became a pioneer in producing cutting oils and lubricants. By the 1970s, Blaser Swisslube’s water-miscible coolants revolutionised machining by improving efficiency, extending tool life, and enhancing workplace safety. Today, the company continues to lead with innovations that enable manufacturers to optimise performance and gain a competitive edge.
The MTDCNC team also had the opportunity to visit REGO-FIX Group, where they saw Swiss precision in action. Known for their powRgrip system and Fraisa cutting tools, REGO-FIX showcases unmatched engineering excellence. Every tool undergoes rigorous testing to ensure maximum reliability and performance. The MTDCNC team witnessed the tools’ impressive capabilities firsthand, capturing the precision that defines Swiss manufacturing.
