Hascall Steel Expands Operations with New Facility in Michigan!

Hascall Steel Co., a prominent flat-rolled steel distributor and service center based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has officially opened a new 250,000-square-foot facility in Canton, Michigan. This expansion strengthens the company’s position in the supply chain and broadens its service capabilities.
The new plant, featuring advanced equipment, includes four slitters capable of processing 60,000-pound coils in thicknesses ranging from 0.015 to 0.400 inches and widths up to 72 inches. In addition, a stretcher leveler will be installed by spring 2025, further enhancing processing operations.
This strategic location will streamline logistics, improving delivery efficiency for clients in the region. Hascall Steel continues to maintain a large inventory of unallocated steel while offering services such as slitting, blanking, shearing, and stretcher leveling. The expansion also brings new jobs in manufacturing, logistics, and management to support the local economy.
