Andy J. Egan Co. has appointed Chris Weaver as its new president, marking a leadership transition that reflects the company’s focus on continuity and long-term growth. Weaver succeeds Andy Jasper, who will remain actively involved in the business, supporting leadership initiatives while concentrating on business development.
Weaver brings more than two decades of experience within the organization, having joined Egan’s design-build department in 2000 as an engineer. Over the years, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s technical and operational capabilities. Since 2015, he has served as director of technology, leading initiatives that enhance innovation, efficiency, and project execution across the business.
His appointment signals a strong emphasis on leveraging technology and engineering expertise to drive the company forward. With a background in HVACR engineering technology from Ferris State University, Weaver has consistently contributed to advancing best practices within the mechanical contracting and fabrication sectors.
Beyond his role at Egan, Weaver is actively engaged in the broader industry. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and trade shows, sharing insights on construction technologies and process improvements. He also serves on the HVACR Advisory Board at Ferris State University and participates in the Core Group for the Lean Construction Institute of Michigan Community of Practice, reinforcing his commitment to workforce development and continuous improvement.
The leadership transition ensures continuity for Egan while positioning the company to build on its strong foundation. With Weaver at the helm and Jasper continuing to support strategic initiatives, the company is well placed to advance its capabilities and strengthen its position in the mechanical contracting and fabrication industry.
