University of Nottingham 3D Printed Face Shield for NHS approved by BSi

MTDCNC travelled to the University of Nottingham to interview Professor Richard Hague & get the inside story their incredible efforts to supply Face Shields to the NHS, working with BSi to get their design CE certified in record time. Within days, they expect to have supplied 5000 reusable Face Shield kits to frontline NHS professionals.

Matsuura Machinery Ltd opened their Additive Manufacturing Facility to utilise their UK demonstration HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printers to supply the much needed production capability.
