Kitamura Machinery has introduced two new machines set to revolutionise manufacturing practices. Showcased at their showroom, these machines are designed to meet the growing demand for compact and flexible automation systems.

The first, the MedCenter5AX, is a simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining centre featuring 20 pallets and a tool capacity of 120. This innovation is aimed at enhancing spindle utilisation, making it ideal for manufacturers aiming to expand their 5-axis capabilities.

The second machine, the Mycenter-HX250iG, offers exceptional efficiency for horizontal machining. Equipped with 10 pallets and 102 tools, it provides the flexibility needed for dynamic manufacturing environments.

Both models boast field-expandable pallet systems and tool magazines, enabling manufacturers to start with essential configurations and expand as production requirements grow. This adaptability ensures that the machines remain relevant to businesses scaling their operations, aiding the drive towards lights-out manufacturing.

Kitamura stresses the importance of flexibility and forward-thinking automation. The new compact machines demonstrate that a smaller footprint can deliver significant impact. The models are part of the wide array of innovations being presented at the IMTS booth, showcasing the company’s ongoing commitment to cutting-edge technology.

Kitamura Machinery, a prominent name in the CNC industry, continues to focus on development and innovation, providing solutions that align with industry needs and enhancing manufacturing capabilities across diverse applications.
