Snow clearing

The adverse weather has hit businesses accross the UK with much of the country coming to a standstill. At the start of the week almost all schools in the West Midlands were closed with another 300 schools in Wales closed. The coldest temperatures for almost seven years virtually brought the country to a standstill.

During this cold freeze, hospitals and many of the emergency services were calling upon drivers of 4X4 vehicles to help get staff to and from work. At Guhring in Birmingham, the cutting tool manufacturer enlisted the help of its neighbours and close customers to help out.

In typical Guhring fashion, they did it a little differently. Clearing the carpark at its UK headquarters was turned into a fun challenge, a challenge that was taken up by the Robot Wars team. Enlisting the support of Sir Killalot and Matilda, Guhring had the car park clear in no time…
