Bott Expands Solar Capacity, Cuts Emissions in Cornwall

Bott Ltd has announced a significant expansion in its solar energy capacity at its Bude, Cornwall site, enhancing its sustainability efforts. The company has increased its solar capability by 60%, installing 102 new solar panels. This upgrade brings the total installed capacity to 45.9 kWp, enabling the generation of up to 45,000 kWh of clean, renewable electricity annually.

This advancement will result in an annual reduction of 21 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. The newly generated solar energy will power day-to-day manufacturing operations, decrease reliance on grid electricity, and support Bott’s broader sustainability targets.

This move aligns with Bott’s ongoing efforts to invest in sustainable practices and reduce its carbon footprint, showcasing a commitment to a cleaner future.
