MTDCNC’s Tom Skubala is on the Guhring stand at AMB 2022 in Germany checking out some impressive machining achieved with Guhring carbide products. High feed cutters are used in the roughing cycle and ball nosed cutters, as small as 0.2mm, are used for the finishing process with incredible results. Guhring also have thread milling cutters able to cut a thread without pre-drilling; cutting, drilling and thread milling all in one go – held firm by Guhrings own tool holders. When it comes to drilling Guhring have a complete range of high performance 2 & 3 flute carbide drills all with through tool coolant. The 3 fluted drills can run higher feeds & speeds giving better roundness and surface finish. Guhring have a full range of long drills including drills for deep hole gun drilling.
