Monday 1 June 2020, 10:02:13 PM

In a time where the manufacturing community expected to be preparing for the pre- and post-MACH 2020 influx of business enquiries, manufacturing is now taking on the unprecedented challenge of overcoming Covid-19. With MACH now planned for January, Star GB is proud to be amongst the many companies reallocating it’s time to work together to save lives.

In association with the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, Star users and BTMA members have generously dedicated their machining capacity to produce over 250,000 ventilator components and other critical medical parts. Stephen Totty, Managing Director of Star GB said: “We are running several customer machines around the clock at our Derby HQ whilst our engineers continue to provide ongoing technical assistance to all customers as usual. Supporting our customers is paramount, this includes priority help with writing programs, preparing tooling layouts, procuring cutting tools and other requests as required.”
