Scanning spray for optical measurement

Reflective, dark or glossy surfaces can be difficult to detect with optical scanners. To temporarily matt the surfaces to be measured, the measurement service provider Topometric has developed an optimised scanning spray for industrial 3D measurement technology. The Attblime spray is thinly and evenly sprayed onto the surfaces to be measured, creating high contrast values and thus enabling even the smallest surface details to be captured. The even spray pattern has a minimum layer thickness of up to 4µm.

Attblime is based on the substance Cyclododecane, which is characterised by complete sublimation. This means the spray evaporates without leaving any residue on the component. Subsequent cleaning of the component is not necessary.

Thanks to optimised spray technology, coating thicknesses and sublimation times can be controlled and adapted to the desired task and a service life of more than 24 hours is now possible. For extensive applications, such as in fully automated measuring rooms or even large objects, Attblime is also available in larger container quantities to reduce time, cost and packaging materials.

The scanning spray adheres to porous and non-porous materials such as textiles, wood, glass, painted surfaces, metal, plastic, stone, mortar and paper.

The raw Cyclododecane (CDC) material does not bioaccumulate in aquatic organisms and is therefore harmless to humans and the environment.
