LIVE 3D PRINTING & LIVE 5 AXIS MACHINING AT SOUTHERN MANUFACTURING 2020

On stand E260 at Southern Manufacturing, Matsuura Machinery Ltd will be exhibiting the MX-520 5-axis machine and the HP Jet Fusion 580 3D colour printer. The machines will work in harmony to demonstrate the real-world benefits of the current production strategies from Matsuura.

At the show, Matsuura will be machining live on the MX-520, utilising fixtures and work-holding printed on the HP Multi-Jet Fusion 4200 3D printer. This will demonstrate the incredible time and cost savings generated by ‘printing’ workholding in hours rather than weeks for conventional metal solutions.

The MX-520 is Matsuura’s best-selling single table 5-axis CNC machine tool, aimed primarily at companies making the transition from 3 to 5-axis operations. Visitors to stand E260, can also see live 3D colour printing on the HP Jet Fusion 580 and discuss the capabilities of this printer
