“GibbsCAM has always been known as a very easy to use, easy to learn system.”

Now, after a total rewrite of its 3D machining package, it’s becoming one of the most capable too. New additions like 2.5-axis deburring and a rebuilt advanced 3D engine are delivering better surface finish, tighter tolerances and faster part-to-ship workflows – with even more features landing in the 2027 release.

MTDCNC speaks with Vic Baker, Global Business Development Manager at GibbsCAM, to hear how the company is rebuilding its partnerships with machine tool manufacturers like Okuma and why the most exciting version of GibbsCAM is still on the horizon.
